In August 2000, SportsRevolution (formerly known as MZUK) became the first company to sign a centralized deal for outdoor and ambient advertising with the Football League and we now enable advertisers to reach over 30 million people every year. When exclusive contracts with the majority of Premiership Clubs are coupled with those in the Football League, SportsRevolution offers unique access to advertising space in football stadiums across the UK, thereby offering regional and national advertisers the opportunity to communicate directly with their target audience using a single contact. One of the key strengths of the medium is that it allows the advertiser to communicate their message to a captive audience, within a familiar and receptive environment. It is increasingly difficult to ensure that those in the correct target market actually see adverts. A recent study shows the relatively high levels of people actively avoiding adverts within a number of traditional media.
